Here is a list of common difficulties faced by people whose daily lives could be improved by some help from Countrycarers. It may be that help is needed for only one hour a day one day a week. We can do that. Alternatively, help at peak times, or overnight, or weekends, or for 24 hours day 7 days a week may be required.

Do you find it difficult to ...

• visit the doctor, physiotherapist, hospital or pharmacist, organise medication, check BSL or Blood Pressure and carry out and record all daily observations for patient records?
• get out of bed?
• shower or bath?
• get dressed?
• shave, shampoo, do your hair?
• clean your teeth or care for your nails?
• get into or out of chairs or recliners?
• keep up with the laundry, drying, folding and ironing?
• go shopping?
• do all the housework – dusting, sweeping, mopping, cleaning, vacuuming, dishwashing, spring cleaning, tidying cupboards, cleaning the fridge etc?
• carry out small home maintenance chores like changing lightglobes, getting rid of spiders, emptying rubbish, emptying the vacuum, unblocking the washing machine/dishwasher/dryer, cleaning the iron etc?
• sort out the bills or deal with tradesmen?
