Fee Schedule

Category 1
Contract rates for private, in home aged care for one patient i.e. where Countrycarers has assessed and quoted on nursing care for a patient on an ongoing basis that will involve more than approximately 100 hours of nursing care during a negotiated period. Longer term contracts may be individually negotiated.

24 hour, 7 day week inhome care of low or medium care dementia or general patients including assistance in showering, toiletting, hair care, skin care, oral hygiene, shopping, cooking, preparation of meals, transport and escort services, supervising medication, bedmaking, personal laundry, and housekeeping of patient area, i.e. personal care of one patient and assistance with the patient's activities of daily living, including daily observations of blood pressure, pulse, temperature, blood sugar levels and patient notes as required.

This does not include caring for other family members, general household cleaning and laundry, cooking, gardening, ironing or housekeeping for other people, or handyman services. These additional services are available, and subject to individual case by case quotes.

Rates:
$30 per hour or part thereof, paid within 7 days of the commencement of the work, billed weekly in advance.
$35 per hour or part thereof, paid within 14 days of the commencement of the work, billed weekly in advance.
$40 per hour or part thereof, paid within 30 days of the commencement of the work, billed weekly in advance.

High care dementia patients, including those needing manual handling by lifter or hoist, or bed baths or similar will usually require two nurse/carers, and will be billed accordingly.

Category 2
Casual rates for general nursing of patients by AIN, EN, or trained and qualified carers supervised by RN including the duties similar to those listed in 1 above.

Rates:
$32 per hour or part thereof, paid within 7 days of the billing of the work on each Monday of each week.
$38 per hour or part thereof, paid within 14 days of the billing of the work on each Monday of each week.
$44 per hour or part thereof, paid within 30 days of the billing of the work on each Monday of each week.

Supervision of all staff by the Nursing Manager, Housekeeping Manager and Manager Client Services is included in the above rates.

Category 3
Registered Nursing services for all patients are available. These are subject to individual quote dependant on the task to be undertaken, but the following guideline is an indication. There is a minimum callout period of 2 hours.

Rates:
$44 per hour or part thereof, paid within 7 days of the billing of the work on each Monday of each week.
$50 per hour or part thereof, paid within 14 days of the billing of the work on each Monday of each week.
$56 per hour or part thereof, paid within 30 days of the billing of the work on each Monday of each week.

Category 4 - Grannies and Nannies
In addition to qualified nursing staff, Countrycarers offers respite care and has a minding service with an energetic and fully screened staff. All have Senior First Aid Certificates, and Federal Police Checks.

There is a wide variation in the requirements for child, adolescent and adult minding services, and this work is always subject to an individual quote dependant on the tasks to be undertaken.

However, the following guidelines are indicative:

$15.00 per hour, per person, with a minimum callout period of 3 hours, paid within 7 days of the billing of the work on each Monday of each week, up to a maximum of $44 per hour per person for persons with specialist qualifications.

All other services will be quoted on an individual basis, for example interpreter, cleaning, companion, leisure, exercise, dog walking, pet care and so on.

For all categories, if the task requires car travel exceeding 50K return, a petrol allowance of $20 each way is payable
